Four Significant Promotions at On Q Property Management

Taylor Tenney

On Q Property Management announced four internal promotions this month, each one reflecting years of consistent contribution and a commitment to growth that the company continues to build on.

Growing From the Inside

On Q has always believed that the people who understand this company best are the ones who have been inside it. They have worked through the hard months, built the systems, trained the teams, and earned the trust of the people around them. When leadership positions open or new ones are created, the first place On Q looks is at the people already doing the work. This month, four of those people took significant steps forward.

Jerry: PM Coaching and Performance Manager

Jerry has been part of the On Q Property Management team for seven years, working in property management operations. He knows what it takes to manage a property well from the ground up, and more importantly, he knows how to help others do it.

In his new role as PM Coaching and Performance Manager, Jerry moves into a position focused on developing the property management team from the inside. His work will directly shape how Property Managers grow in their roles and how consistently On Q delivers for Homeowners and Residents across all four markets.

Darren: Director of Payables and Financial Reporting

Darren joined On Q seven years ago and has spent his tenure building deep expertise in the financial operations that keep the company running. The trust On Q earns from Homeowners is built, in part, on financial reporting that is transparent and accurate. That work runs through Darren's team.

As Director of Payables and Financial Reporting, Darren takes on expanded leadership over the financial processes that Homeowners see in their owner statements and that ownership groups rely on to make decisions about their portfolios. It is work that happens behind the scenes, but it matters every single month.

Jerem: Director of Trust Accounting

Jerem has been with On Q for eleven years. That kind of tenure is rare in any industry, and in property management it reflects something specific: a person who has grown alongside the company through multiple phases of expansion, process change, and market development.

Trust accounting is one of the most regulated and consequential functions in residential property management. It governs how rental income is held, disbursed, and accounted for on behalf of property owners. As Director of Trust Accounting, Jerem leads the team responsible for the financial integrity that sits at the foundation of every owner relationship On Q has.

Ted: Chief Information Officer

Ted's promotion to Chief Information Officer is the most significant structural move of this group. The Chief Information Officer role is a C-suite position, and adding one reflects where On Q is heading as a company.

Ted has been with On Q for ten years. He joined when the company was earlier in its growth, and he has been part of the technology decisions that shaped how On Q operates today. The On Q Cloud platform, the systems that keep property managers and owners connected, the tools that support 24/7 service across four markets, all of that falls within the scope of what Ted's team builds and maintains.

The last time On Q added a C-suite role was years ago when Adam joined as Chief Strategy Officer. At that time, the company was at a different scale. The decision to add a CIO now reflects the reality that technology is no longer a supporting function at On Q. It is core to how the company delivers, and having dedicated executive leadership at that level is the right structure for where the business is going.

What These Promotions Reflect

None of these four people are new to On Q. Together, they represent 35 years of combined tenure with the company. They have stayed, contributed, and kept building. These promotions are an acknowledgment of that, and they are also an investment in what comes next.

On Q is a company that keeps growing, and not just in the number of properties it manages. The team is growing in capability, in structure, and in the capacity to serve Homeowners and Residents at a higher level across Phoenix, Tucson, Dallas, and Austin. Promotions like these make room for the next group of people to step up. That is how growth works when it is done right.
